Jeffrey Hernandez is a stand-up comic based in NYC. He runs ‘Hard Knock Laughs’, a production company that combines headliners from around the nation to bring the best show possible to clubs around the city. He was born and raised in Lowell, MA. Comedy and performing have been a passion of his since friends and family can remember him. The emphasis and commitment he puts into his craft radiates from his finished products, and are raved about on 1,000’s of comment cards since Hard Knock Laughs began its weekly shows in 2008. During stand-up shows, Jeff is an instant favorite! His charm and personality bleed sincerity and well up with edgy yet heartwarming comedy. He has the uncanny ability to enter an audience (whether on the street, in the subway, or a comedy club) and instantly captivate and connect. Fans remember him as addictive, funny, and eerily connected to their personalities. After serving four years in the military, Jeff “quit his day job” and moved to New York City to entertain full-time. He worked his way up from open mic nights to performing at the Apollo Theater, becoming a regular in the NYC comedy club circuit, and then launching his comedy show with a business partner, also doing frequent sets as a favorite at the Laugh Lounge comedy club of the Lower East Side in New York City. Today Jeffrey Hernandez spearheads three primetime shows a week out of Stand Up NY, and Comic Strip Live, and is the creative drive behind Hard Knock Laughs.
