Michael Rowland stars as Shred in the hit FOX comedy "Animal Control," alongside Joel McHale, which airs its third season in 2025. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Michael is a New York-based stand-up comedian and actor. He made his Late Night TV debut on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," and was honored as a "New Face" at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. He’s been featured multiple times on “This Week at the Comedy Cellar” on Comedy Central as well as “Stupid Questions with Chris Distefano," and “Pause with Sam Jay” on HBOMax. He also has a feature set for Comedy Central Digital and in 2019 he was a finalist in the "New York's Funniest Stand-Up" competition for the New York Comedy Festival. You can hear him on his podcast, "In The Minivan," and he co-hosts the monthly show Laughodills in Flatbush, Brooklyn.
