Steve White is leaving his mark on stages and screens big and small, telling the truth, taking jabs and turning heads in every chapter of his acting, screenwriting, and comedic career. With five Spike Lee films under his belt, including “Do the Right Thing,” “Get on the Bus,” “Mo’ Better Blues,” “Clockers,” and “Malcolm X,” the film in which he also served as Spike’s Director Trainee, Steve’s presence is unmistakable – and he learned from the best. Growing up in Roosevelt, Long Island, Steve’s journey began with a big break from his hometown buddy, Eddie Murphy, in “Coming to America,” paving the way for roles in “Harlem Nights,” “Ford Fairlane,” “Other People’s Money,” and the Robert Wuhl-directed “Open Season.”
