A throwback to the days of rock-star comics, Bay-area bred Dean Delray is an enigmatic funny man who brings the party to the stage and pulls no punches with his rock n roll-infused comedy. With subject matter that draws from and mirrors his own crazy life in music and comedy, sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll are all dished up Delray style: raw and honest with a razor-sharp edge! Delray is a motorcycle riding, hard-driving comic who was once signed by 4 Non-Blondes' Linda Perry, toured internationally with The Wallflowers, and opened for Tom Petty, Lenny Kravitz, the Black Crowes, and many more during his time in music. A natural jester, Delray is now fully dedicated to comedy, delivering side-splitting laughter with verve and conviction. With roles in Quentin Tarantino's Hell Ride, Ice Cube's The Longshots, Noise Matters and I LIVE, Delray has quickly become one of the most exciting comics on the Hollywood scene. London born Matt Kirshen's precision wit has earned him an impressive reputation on the international comedy circuit. Most recently he appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Paul Provenza’s Green Room, and as a finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing have earned him a whole new host of fans in the United States and a surprising number of other countries worldwide. He has also recorded a half-hour special for the World Stands Up, Comedy Central, and has acclaimed festival appearances at Montreal, Edinburgh, Kilkenny, Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, Bermuda, and Amsterdam. His debut CD, "I Guess We'll Never Know" was named in Punchline Magazine's top 10 albums of 2009 and his hit appearance at the 2008 Just For Laughs festival in Montreal resulted in no fewer than 4 of his gags appearing in the Montreal Gazette's round up of their best jokes of the fest. Matt has appeared in and written for numerous television shows in the UK, including a charity gala featuring Jimmy Fallon, which resulted in Jimmy himself requesting Matt to open for him in a college tour to promote his Late Night hosting slot. His youthful looks disguise a veteran comic with almost a decade of experience, and a wealth of smart, funny and relatable material, making him a firm favorite with college audiences. While it's his prime-time NBC appearances that most American comedy fans will recognize him from, they are often surprised at the breadth and scope of his material, described by one reviewer as "intelligent, but with the emphasis firmly on the funny"
Jackie Gold was raised on the tough middle-class streets of Brooklyn, NY. She has a sharp tongue and a quick sense of humor. Candice Thompson is a comedian/writer/actor that was born in Queens, raised in Cincinnati, and currently resides in Los Angeles. She is the perfect mix of both East and West coasts with just the wrong amount of Midwest street cred. Candice comes from an ethnically mixed family with both of her parents being of African-American and Native American descent, but often gets mistaken for just plain old white. Candice is one of the newest paid regulars at The Comedy Store in Hollywood, performs at the Hollywood Improv, Laugh Factory and was a 2013 NACA participant. You may have also seen her as a cast member on BET’s #1 hit show HELL DATE. You can hear her every week on iTunes as co-host of the podcast OFFARIOUS: The Show that’s Offensive & Hilarious, and in the comedic YouTube sketch series she co-created, CREEPY CARESS. She was also on season 9 of NBC’s LAST COMIC STANDING and currently on E! network’s THE COMMENT SECTION. Candice’s comedy has often made people squirm in their seats and most recently, has gotten her ejected from a wedding, but it’s her edgy vs. adorable factor that keeps crowds begging for more. Candice wants to thank her friends and family for all their support, but most of all she wants to thank God for making her better than everybody.
Moody McCarthy's career has straddled two millenniums, pretty impressive for a guy under 1000 years old. Moody started doing stand-up in Syracuse, NY, in the 1900s, the golden era of the facsimile machine. He then moved to New York City and lived in his sister's basement for 5 years, until she found out. Now he's above ground, and thanks to break-out appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Last Comic Standing, no longer a well-kept secret. (After an appearance on the re-vamped Star Search, he still was.) Moody has distinguished himself with well-crafted material that thrives in any venue, from country clubs to pubs. Weaving sly jokes with in-the-moment crowd-work, here is a thoughtful comedian who will enhance any setting. Moody McCarthy: few people hate him!
