Holly J. Salerno is a New York based artist and internationally represented illustrator. She earned her BFA in illustration from FIT and is the merchandise designer for the New York Comedy Club. Recently, she had billboards featuring her artwork spanning Africa and Asia for the 2022 World Cup x William Lawson ad campaign. Her illustrations and paintings are predominantly figurative. Holly enjoys the fact that drawing the figure is a lifelong pursuit with limitless possibilities for improvement. She is devoted to the study of human anatomy and it’s application in representational art. Holly believes that if you can master the complexity of the figure you can draw anything. Her series “100 Comedians in 100 Days” was part of her observational practice of drawing exactly what you see.
