THE DECEPTICOMICS
THE DECEPTICOMICS return to New York City on Friday August 7th at 9pm for ONE NIGHT ONLY! The DECEPTICOMICS (Dillon Stevenson, Gordon Baker-Bone, John Minus, Mike Brown, and Cerrome Russell) are five African-American comedians who have come together to create a one-of-a-kind comedic experience. The DECEPTICOMICS stand up comedy show appeals to a diverse audience transforming elements of urban, alternative, and mainstream comedy into universally welcomed laughs. The last four DECEPTICOMICS events were sold out, make sure to get your tickets NOW! THE DECEPTICOMICS -------------------------------- DILLON STEVENSON is the co-founder of GRITS Comedy and co-produces the wildly popular DanDillLions comedy show. He is also columnist for Slantnews.com. A native New Yorker, Dillon attacks every stage he hits with energy, wit and infinite geeky references. GORDON BAKER-BONE tours regularly and featured on AXS TV's Gotham Live, has written for MTV, and is a regular at Stress Factory Comedy Club. Originally from Newark, NJ, Gordon's style can be described as a clever, witty, and chaotic connecting with people on all levels. JOHN MINUS is the producer and host of the Non-Productive Comedy Show, based in New Jersey. He was a finalist in the prestigious World Series of Comedy competition. From Race-relations to Role-Playing games, John can speak intelligently (and freely) about many topics. MIKE BROWN is producer and host of the critically acclaimed stand-up showcase Comedy Outliers. He has appeared on Adult Swim, Tru TV, Sirius XM, and Oxygen channel. A study in contradictions, Mike intelligent and erudite yet is funny at all times. CERROME RUSSELL, originally from Sumter County, GA, began his comedy career while serving in the US Marine Corps. He was a cast member on BET's \"Hell Date\" and performs at colleges and military installations worldwide. Cerrome Russell's comedy comes in many varieties, including Off-Center, Truthful, and of course, Country.
