In the Before Times, NYCC was committed to helping younger comedians develop their voice and skills, as well as giving veterans a place to try out new jokes with low pressure. One of the things we did was Late Night, a bonus show after the show where comedians did short sets for as long as the customers wanted to stay and watch. Whether the crowd stayed strong or dwindled down to one very nice couple, our barback Ben was always there to listen (and judge).
