  • Chris Riggins is a stand-up comedian based in Los Angeles, California. Chris first caught notoriety in the comedy community when he won the San Francisco International Comedy Competition and became a regular in the Punchline Comedy Club circuit. Now residing in Los Angeles, he’s become a paid regular at the world-famous Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, and has become a continuing feature act for the greats like Dave Chappelle. His comedic style, characterized by clever observations and fearless commentary, challenges his audiences to think outside the box as he delivers his unique perspective on life. Before cutting his teeth in comedy, he found success in the Oakland music scene, where he was an MC with a world class jazz band named Mingus Amungus and attained a social circle with the likes of Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and many others. It was through his love for both artforms that led to the creation of his jazz-comedy fusion show, “SMOKIN’ JOKES.” In addition to his live performances, Riggins recorded his first comedy album, "My Fifth First Album," with Blonde Medicine in 2021, further establishing himself as a force in the comedy world.
