In 2026, Gus expands his storytelling beyond the stage with "My Greek Mom’s Recipes: She Died. I Wrote This Cookbook," a cookbook inspired by the loss of his larger than life Greek mother. John is a New York based comedian who can be found regularly in both NYC and Los Angeles. His debut comedy album “Nervous” (2013), was highly regarded and LAFT Magazine reviewed John as, “A comedian for the people.” John released his second comedy album, “New Phone, Who Is This?” (2015) which was also well received, ranking #1 for New Comedy Releases during its opening weekend. Both albums are currently available on iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby. He was featured on the WestJet "Just For Laughs" comedy tour headlined by Dane Cook. In addition, he featured for Cook at the Beacon Theater as part of the New York Comedy Festival. More recently, John opened for and appeared on Esther Povitsky’s Comedy Central special, “Hot For My Name” (2020) that was produced by Happy Madison. John has been on Gotham Comedy Live twice. Other notable appearances/credits include: GWF podcast, Adult Swim, Comedy Central, TVGuide Network (POP), Playboy Radio, BiteSizeTV and Reelz Channel. Self-help Singh is the alter ego of international comedian Masood Boomgaard. Self-help Singh, described as a comedic alternative life coach and de-motivational speaker, first appeared to Boomgaard in a vision after he fell and hit his head while rushing to the bathroom in an attempt to outrun the gastric consequences of bad lamb vindaloo. Boomgaard has since been sharing the "common sense wisdom" and de-motivational teachings of Self-help Singh to millions of people on the internet. The Self-help Singh live show is a hilarious yet thought provoking juxtaposition of stand-up comedy, parody and motivational speaking.
