Brian Jian is a Taiwanese-American comedian born in NYC and raised in Long Island. He performs comedy all over the New York area. His performances range from highly personal to light-hearted observational material.
My comedy is about family, specifically my family. As the White, Jewish husband of a Black woman (who converted to Judaism) and the father of a 2-year-old, Biracial son, I focus my attention on the challenges of being a parent in a bad economy and the issues that confront interracial families (including the dynamics between members of the same family who are of different races). In the Age of Obama, my material is very timely, relevant, and (if I may say so myself) hilarious.
I was born in Brooklyn and was quickly deported to Long Island, where my parents raised me in an overprotective shell. After peaking academically in high school, I meandered through an Ivy League college, law school, and a legal career only to realize that my true gift was in making fun of the law, as well as my neuroses, my raging hypochondria, my height (or lack thereof), and the challenges of being a new dad, which includes the public acknowledgment that I am no longer in the running to be the latest James Bond (even if they decide to go with a James Bond who’s a short Jewish guy).
Although I left the law to pursue a comedy career, I’ve kept a foot in the legal world. I’m a member of Comedians at Law (www.comediansatlaw.com), a group of comics who all left the law (voluntarily, or, like me, a little less voluntarily) to pursue our dream.
I’ve performed at clubs, colleges, and venues throughout the country. I’ve been featured on Sirius/XM Radio’s “Raw Dog Comedy,” NBC’s EVB Live, Bloomberg Law TV, ComedyTime TV, RT TV America, and NYC-TV, and in The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post, and CNN.com. I won the 12th Annual Gilda’s Club (Northern NJ) Laugh-Off.
I’m also a writer. I wrote a series of columns about my comedy career in a regularly-occurring column in The New York Daily News “Money” section. I wrote a monthly humor column for the online webzine The Coil Review (www.thecoilreview.com), and I’m a regular contributor to The Comic Bible. In addition, my comedic short story “Lola’s Christmas Gift” was published in the 2008 issue of the literary journal The Westchester Review.

"I dropped out of West Point to Become a Comedian... probably the greatest service I will ever do for my country" – Ross Bennett. Ross Bennett left the United States Military Academy after deciding that he preferred to take aim and fire jokes instead of bullets. Since that day Ross' comedy career has taken him from New York to Los Angeles and all points in between. Ross has developed a brand all his own described as "Comedy For The Rest Of Us" which resonates with everyday working class Americans who prefer clean humor that is both clever and politics-free. Ross discusses a wide variety of topics drawn from a life full of experiences ranging from his growing up with a father who was a Marine Colonel, to grade school snow days, to middle age medical procedures. Ross has been seen on over a dozen television shows including Comedy Central's "Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn", A & E's "Evening At The Improv", and "The Late Show with David Letterman". In 2019 Dry Bar Comedy released Ross' full length special "Comedy... For The Rest Of Us" which has been viewed millions of times.
Joe Larson is a second-generation comedian. Much to his parent’s dismay at the age of twenty, Joe went into the family business. Straight away he was chosen “College Comedian of the Year” at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival. Joe was nominated “Best Up-And-Coming Comedian” at the NYC MAC Awards, was a finalist in both the prestigious Johnny Carson Great American Comedy Festival and Boston Comedy Festival and was part of the feature film Stand Up 360.
Just as comedy was taking off big time, Joe became a father, giving him a new level of comfort in his role on stage and screen. Unconventional as always, Joe didn’t take on the traditional role of dad but rather he says he is simply a “man with a baby”. He is currently lending his Man With A Baby voice as writer and actor on the hit show Babies Behaving Badly on Discovery Family, TLC and Discovery UK.
Joe has also been seen on Gotham Comedy Live, NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Laughs on FOX, The Tonight Show’s “Laugh Squad” and the Speed Channel. On radio he is a repeat guest on Bob and Tom and the Bennington Show.
A lover of all things comedy, Joe is currently pursuing acting and writing roles for television as well enjoying every laugh he can give you while he’s on stage in NYC and throughout the US.
