Elena is a Spanish American telenovela actress turned stand up comedian. No, that is not a joke. After several hit telenovelas in Mexico under her belt, she fell in love with a nice Jewish East Coast guy and realized her heart wasn’t in on-camera face slapping anymore. So she took the next logical artistic step from doing melodrama in Spanish; she started performing stand up comedy in English. She threw out her telenovela push up bra, moved to the East Coast and has performed in venues all over the country like: DC Improv, Arlington Drafthouse, Carolines, Big Hunt, Broadway Comedy Club and many more. She also hosts the Arlington Drafthouse podcast 'CounterCurrents" and has a sketch page called Human Factor Comedy. Jersey native Shatara Curry has officially unwrapped her gift of laughter, which comes as no surprise to many. Now, she is doing what every middle child from a big family does best, she is “sharing”. It was love it first mic, when gracing the stage for the first time at New York’s Boston Comedy Club. She jokes that it was after receiving her bachelors degree, she ran to the closest stage to put her newfound knowledge to the test. Since then Shatara has performed at some of New York Cities top comedy clubs like Caroline’s, Broadway Comedy Club, Comix, The Laugh Factory and Gotham. Doing comedy for over 10 years has also placed her in front of audiences across the country and even overseas. Shatara or “Shaterrible” as she likes to call herself, freely uses her gift to gabb, speaking her mind with an intelligent razor sharp tongue and an unapologetic sassy confidence. Shatara is so animated, even does a glory song and dance about having no kids and not having crumbs in the backseat of her car. Dave Hill is a comedian, writer, musician, actor, radio host, and man-about-town originally from Cleveland, Ohio but now living in New York City in a totally sweet apartment with a party deck and everything. Hot chicks come over to hang out and eat cheese plates and stuff with him all the time and it’s awesome. Anyway, on the show business front, Dave has appeared on Netflix’s The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Adult Swim's Joe Pera Talks with You Amazon’s The Tick, Comedy Central’s @midnight andInside Amy Schumer programs, TBS' Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, TV Land's The Jim Gaffigan Show, and TruTV's Comedy Knockout among a bunch of others. He is a frequent on-air host for HBO and Cinemax and has been on channels like MTV, VH1, BBC-America, and the Sundance Channel a whole bunch too. Dave also starred in his own television program The King of Miami on the Mojo Network, which was cancelled even though Dave really liked it. The show also aired in the United Kingdom on Sky TV’s Film24 Channel. And you can still watch The King of Miami on Hulu too, which Dave is super pumped about. Oh, and Dave was a correspondent on Hoppus on Music starring Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus on the Fuse channel, which ruled. Dave has been on other shows and in obscure movies too but let’s keep moving for now. Dave performs live comedy over the world and has appeared at such festivals as the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, SXSW, San Francisco Sketchfest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Sasquatch Festival, Bumbershoot, Bonnaroo, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, the Crap Comedy Festival in Oslo, Outside Lands in San Francisco, and then some other ones too. He has also performed comedy at Sing Sing Correctional Facility twice and even ripped some guitar solos inside a Mexican prison a couple times too. In 2007, Variety magazine named Dave one of their “10 Comedians to Watch,” something he still won’t shut up about. Some things are hard to let go of. Dave hosted his own radio show The Goddamn Dave Hill Show on WFMU in Jersey City, New Jersey every Monday night from 9pm to midnight for years and now hosts the podcast Dave Hill's Podcasting Incident, which is also broadcast on the UK's Fubar Radio, So...You're Canadian with Dave Hill, and History Fluffer, on which he is joined by Jim Biederman, Jodi Lennon, and Chris Gersbeck. Dave is also a frequent contributor to public radio’s Live from Here with Chris Thile and This American Life. He has also appeared on podcasts like WTF with Marc Maron, The Adam Carolla Show, The Nerdist, and then roughly 78 other ones besides those. Dave is the author of three books, Parking the Moose (Doubleday Canada/Penguin Random House 2019), Tasteful Nudes (St. Martins Press, 2012) and Dave Hill Doesn’t Live Here Anymore (Blue Rider Press 2016). He has also written for the New York Times, GQ, Salon, The Paris Review, McSweeney’s, New York Observer, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, VICE, Guitar World, and a bunch of other places too. Comedy legend Dick Cavett called Dave “a major figure among American comic writers, past and present,” which is pretty much the coolest thing that has ever happened as far as Dave is concerned. Dave is also a musician who currently sings and plays guitar in the power pop band Valley Lodge, whose song “Go” is the theme song to HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and the psych/garage rock band Painted Doll. He was also a member of Cleveland rock bands Sons of Elvis and Cobra Verde as well as Diamondsnake, a heavy metal band with Moby. Additionally, Dave has played guitar for Walter Schreifels and muscle metal band Thor and bass for Lucy Wainwright Roche and former Faith No More singer Chuck Mosley. He also contributed musical scores to films such as Dirty Deeds, Shoot First and Pray You Live, and then some other ones besides those two. Additionally, Dave’s mostly imaginary Norwegian Black Metal Band Witch Taint is currently bringing its own disturbing brand of comedy and music to audiences all over the world after having existed merely as an absurb email chain for over a decade. They’ve also sold a lot of T-shirts. Dave has made out with a lot of chicks, is sweet at guitar, and smells really great. You can ask anyone.

Emma Willmann is one of New York City’s top comedians, and perhaps one of the only dyslexic-gender-wiggly-comics-with-ADHD from Blue Hill, Maine. In the third grade, Mrs. Weller would bribe Emma with the chance to tell a story at the end of every class if Emma promised to stop talking to the other classmates. Now, Emma gets to tell stories nightly at The Comedy Cellar, on Netflix’s: The Comedy Line Up, Comedy Central, and is one of the few comics ever to have multiple appearances on The Late Show with Stephan Colbert. All of which has earned Emma a spot on Caroline’s 10 Funniest Comics, Just For Laughs: New Faces, and TimeOut’s 10 Funniest Women in NYC. Emma’s mom is “really proud of all of this but doesn’t like comedy.” Additionally, Emma is an actor and writer best known for playing the role of Beth on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and also featured on Paramount Plus’s The Good Fight, Judd Apatow’s Crashing, MTV, and TruTV. Emma tells stories everyday on Instagram and TikTok, several of which have gone viral and earned a total of 450,000 followers (although we’re pretty sure Mrs. Weller isn’t one of them). From peanut butter to porn preferences, Emma loves talking about everything and is known for the unique ability to authentically connect with all types of audiences, even the occasional heckler.

With a dynamic energy and an almost tangible onstage presence, Dean Edwards remains one of the comedy worlds most in demand performers across the globe. Armed with a razor sharp wit, an arsenal of characters and spot on impressions, it’s no wonder that he’s become such a favorite, garnering media attention as well as a legion of fans. As one of the stars of MTV2’s hit show, GUY CODE, Dean has helped the show become the networks most successful show in its history. He also just completed hosting TV One’s clip show, VIDIOTS and serves as a correspondent on BET’s new program, DON’T SLEEP, hosted by TJ Holmes. A talented Actor/Comedian, Dean Edwards has been making his mark in comedy following two successful seasons as a cast member on “SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE With such memorable impressions as Don Cheadle, Michael Jackson and Denzel Washington, as well as such original characters as "Man in Elevator" and "Cop#2", Dean always pushed himself to the limits of creativity and exhaustion. Always the multi-tasker, Dean found the momentum to juggle his SNL career, his numerous standup appearances and multiple television appearances. Born in the Bronx and raised throughout New York, Dean's travels made it easy for him to communicate with all walks of life. After dividing his college career between classes and a 6-year term in the U.S. Army Reserves, Dean ultimately made the choice to devote his career to comedy. Although his fellow soldiers loved his impressions of their drill sergeant, Dean spent many an afternoon doing push-ups to pay for his comedic talent. That talent paid off and Dean found his career after participating in a college talent show. Armed with a degree in communications, Dean became an in-demand comic, and landed his first big break on Russell Simmons' “DEF COMEDY JAM.” Though the show is renown for it's blue humor, Dean found a way to break the traditional mold with his mainstream appeal. Subsequently, he was a featured comedian on “SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO” a few years later. Dean followed his TV appearances by starring in numerous television commercials, and also worked with Spike Lee on the hit feature film “THE ORIGINAL KINGS OF COMEDY”. Edwards has since earned a reputation as a headlining favorite at comedy clubs and colleges across the country. An international sensation, Dean has attended Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival twice and was chosen to perform at the Jozi, Cape Town and Durban Comedy Festival’s in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban South Africa, as well as Saudi Arabia in late, 2009. More recently, Dean completed a tour of the Middle East, performing in front of more than 10,000 comedy fans: beginning in Cairo, Egypt and ending in Kuwait. Dean has made several late night appearances, including “The Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and “Last Call with Carson Daly.” He is also a favorite and frequent guest on Byron Allen’s “Comic Unleashed,” and is frequently providing comedic commentary on various VH1 highlight shows. Director Malcolm Lee also chose Dean to finish Bernie Mac's voice/ADR work on "Soul Men" after the comedian’s untimely death. He spent 2 years workshopping and creating the character of Donkey, leading up to Dreamworks’ SHREK THE MUSICAL on Broadway. Jeffrey Katzenberg was so impressed by Dean’s vocal talents that he invited Dean to step into Eddie Murphy’s shoes to reprise the role of Donkey in Dreamworks’ new Halloween classic, “SCARED SHREKLESS”. Some of his feature credits include “SPIDERMAN 3”, “TONY –N- TINA’S WEDDING” and “UNIVERSAL REMOTE”. Dean’s first comedy CD, “REAL TALK WITH FAKE PEOPLE, Volume 1” debuted at the top of Itunes comedy charts in 2009. As he continues to ascend in the ranks of entertainment, Dean next plans to record a one hour comedy special in the near future.
